Pass Plus
Pass Plus is a course you can do once you have passed your driving test.
It is designed to enhance your driving skills and consists of 6 modules which each require at least 1 hour of instruction (please phone for more information regarding qualifying for this discount)
The Six Modules Are:
Driving in Town
Driving in all weathers
Driving on rural Roads
Driving at Night
Driving on Dual carriageways
Driving on Motorways.
There is no test at the end of it. Your instructor will complete a training record which he will post off to the DSA pass plus office and you will then be issued with a certificate of completion of the course.
There are plenty of insurance companies who have signed up to this initiative and offer considerable discounts on your 1st years insurance.
You may take a pass plus course at any time but you have to take it in the 1st year of passing your test to take advantage of the insurance discounts.
Our pass plus courses cost £150.00 however we are signed up to the Hampshire County Council's "Road Safety Initiative" and we can offer these courses for £75.00 as we can claim the other half from this initiative.
Now is a good time to take advantage of this scheme as you can do it relatively cheaply and get great discounts on your insurance at the same time. Insurance savings can be as much as 30%. The overall design of the course is to give you better skills and make you an even safer driver.
